Letter to Santa

I know how busy you are in these upcoming holidays, but I was wondering if you could spare a few minutes to read this letter. I am fully aware that you are busy tending to the toys that the good children get, and was wondering if you could give me a special item I have been longing for. I have been wanting to get an iPad for myself. And as a foolish way to show I am a good child, my mother would also love one. She is hardworking and is the best mother anyone could ask for.
I know that the iPad is a personal item, and that I would probably be very selfish with it, as I am now with the iPod. I am also fully aware that it would not be a help to any others but me. I would just like this for me, and afterwards I can give my iPod to one of my cousins.
I am asking for this for no special reason, as I would just love to have one. I know that I haven’t been the best of children, I know my grades are poor, and I know that I might as well get a lump of coal, but I’ve been trying. Even if you can’t get one for me, I would be very happy if you got my mother one. But, even though, I would be ecstatic if you would be so kind as to present one to me as well.
So, as to not bother you any further, I will end this letter. I am very grateful of you for reading this, and I wish you a very merry Christmas!

Yours truly,
Liliana Garcia

  1. Good job. i liked how you mentioned that you would also like one for your mother. if shes hardworking i think she diserves it also. i also like how you said that instead of also keeping the iPod you would give it to a family member. You mentoned that you werent doing good this year. im surprised that you had the guts to say that! All in all, good job!
