Hi Ms. Caroll! My name is Liliana Garcia, but you can just call me Lili ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿ . I am 12 years old and I was really excited when I first met you. I wanted you to know a couple of things about me! Last year I was in Washington Elementary School. I love to read, draw and sleep; so you might see me doodling or reading while class is going on (sorry it's a habit ≧ω≦. Now I'm reading a book called Bullyville).
I really like middle school so far... aside from the drama, the classwork, the homework and all of the other problematic things in middle school. In English, I like how when we write, we can always express ourselves in our writing (even though our writing turns into a masterpiece when the teacher edits it o.O). What I don't like about English is all of the work we have to do. There's tons more homework compared to last year! I consider myself a good writer, even though others might think otherwise. Even though I (think I) am a good writer, I do not do well in the clickers quizzes. The clickers are what we use for the Smartboard to take tests or quizzes. We have been using it more often but I have quite a problem with them. I personally don't like them all that much, but I guess I just have to deal with it. I actually am really liking the homeroom class I am in now. I think all of my classmates are very nice and fun, so it makes it a little more tolerable every Monday morning.
That is another thing I don't like about school... MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Monday would be a whole lot more fun if school hadn't ruined it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(╥﹏╥) I know that school is necessary, you need it to get a good career, blah blah blah, and some more blahs. In English class, what we usually do is just do the daily quote and the questions that are set out for us. Then, we go over the answers and then we do whatever it is we have to do. Then (my favorite part of the period...) we leave. Then... some more torture. Period two. So, that's basically what I'm like and what we do in class. Hope you come to like me
@};--- here's a rose for u
Liliana, this post had me laughing! Your true voice really came through, and it is evident that you are extremely proficient at writing. "Then, my favorite part of the period, we leave"--that statement is very honest on your part! Overall, great job!
ReplyDeleteLiliana, i think you did excellent. It almost seemed like you were actually talking in person. I like i how you gave your opinion about the smart board clickers. To be honest, i dont like them either. They are a waist of mt time almost because i havent been doing so well on them and there a distraction. I think i am muhc better on regular tests because we arent pressured to answer a question as we are on smartboard clickers. We get all the time we need. I score a higher grade on those becuase i get my time to think. Most people like them but i think other wise. GREAT JOB !
